Upon careful inspection…

My first thought was that these mud homes, under a bridge, were way too large for wasps. Of course that was correct. they were homes carefully made by Barn Swallows just outside Lincoln Park’s Farm. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
The ability to build a home sturdy enough to house a family using only your beaks is more than incredible to me. And there is no instruction book for birds. I am humbled. Here you see a couple Barn Swallows coming and going from their nests. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
