All my thoughts and prayers…

I will share some of the beautiful images from the Great Smoky Mountains outside of Asheville North Carolina. These were photographed a couple months ago from the Blue Ridge Parkway. But my heart is with the folks on the east coast hit by Hurricane Helene. In particular, for our daughter and her family who are outside of Asheville. No power, no water, no services, no roads open; which includes no way to no the news. An infant. But their home was saved from storm damage; so counting this great blessing. If you want to help those in the area here is a link to quality organizations. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
Asheville has never, in recorded history, received this quanity of rain in such a short period of time. This means there was no way to prepare for or expect such devastation. I talked with our daughter yesterday for about a minute. She had ventured out to get gas in her car; but the lines were forever long. And this was equally true at the grocery store. Patience, kindness to others, and faith are most needed right now while the experts do their work on infrastructures. Here, again, is the link to place you possibly donate to for help to those effected by H. Helene. Copyright 2024 Pamela Breitberg
