Skyflower is the common name I prefer to call this shrub; the flowers look like a mixture of clear sky rimmed with clouds. Golden Dewdrop (Duranta erecta) is the more common name; so named for the golden berries that follow its flowering. The flowers are quite small, less an inch in diameter, so could easily be ignored by most passing by this shrub.
