I am sure I’ve never seen this plant before this year. This is another type of Milkweed: a Giant Milkweed (Calotropis gigantea) from Asia and Africa. I know Butterfly Milkweed and Prairie Milkweed, both native to the U.S. But this variety is amazingly original in design.
