Gathering and feasting…

Goldenrod is a favorite feast for Bumble Bee in the autumn. They gather the pollen and nectar to store for their winter survival. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
Close inspection of the Goldenrod reveals multiple Bees. If Bees surround your meal this time of year when dining outdoors, try planting such plants nearby. It might be more attractive to them. They need to stock up now. Yeah, kind of like Bear; but Bees carry it back to their home instead of dining on it. They do prefer natural sources of energy. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
This one, like most right now, was so busy that it was not bothered by my close camera. Wait to cut down Goldenrod until deep frost sets in. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg

Gathering pollen

And treasured golden nectar

Future feast to share.
