At rest…

Perrenial prairie natives rest during the winter months. Roots underground are alive and storing energy for next year’s emergence. Here Big Blue Stem grasses appear to be the bedding for a one Compass Plant leaf. The winter winds and snow have caused the grasses to lie down on the prairie floor. Happy Thanksgiving. For there is always so much to be thankful for. Today and tomorrow my thoughts focus on my blessings.  Remember to spend some moments of peaceful rest and relaxation.  Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg

All is still; quiet

The Prairie lies in restful

Pause. Peaceful slumber.
