We visited this northern, central Florida State Park while traveling. I’ve heard of the many springs in this area but never had a chance to see them. My memory went back to camp days in Missouri that included visits to natural springs. Silver Springs State Park was a wonderful chance to stretch my legs and for certain has become a destination for further exploration. Manatees were visible from the shore; so a glass bottom boat tour would be ideal to see them and other wildlife.
