The Bartlett’s of the Bonnet House had a sense of humor as well as serious artistic talent. The wooden Pelican was a souvenir from their world-wide travels. The paintings were by Frederic Clay Bartlett. Many of his paintings are serious but some are quite whimsical, like the one shown here!
