I felt like I hit the jackpot at the graocery store two and a half months ago. This Orchid plant only had buds; no open blooms. This meant I knew I’d be able to enjoy it’s beautiful blooms for quite awhile. It still is the only fully closed buds I’ve found at any grocer. FYI: the petitpoint framed on the bottom is one I did many years ago. I will never do another; much too tedious; although the result is wonderful. I estimate another week or so of floral beauty Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg
I love orchids.I have 2 in my window, and they were blossoming until crazy. And then all of a sudden yesterday, they faded away, I don’t know what happened. They’ve had been blossoming for months and months , which is kind of unusual because usually , they start in may and they started in january and they kept going until just a few days ago , I’ll send you pictures

I bought this one with buds still tight. One of 2 stalks still blooming 2.5 months later. I too treasure their blooms!
