Woodland spring flower…

Interesting naming for this woodland spring-blooming plant. Eastern Waterleaf (Hydrophyllum virginianum) is so named for the whitish blotches that can form on the leaves looking like dew drops. This early in the year the leaves are new and pristine. I love the frilliness of the flowers. Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg
