Quiet swimmers…

Stillness and swimmers are not words that seem to fit each other. But these swimmers, this summer, are indeed still. Monuments of Stillness by Carole A. Feuerman grace Michigan Avenue this summer. They remind me that Oak Street Beach is just blocks away and there’s still time to go to a Lake Michigan  beach. This mid-October morning is expected to reach 85 degrees; a rare happening in Chicago. May we all feel so relaxed after a swim in Lake Michigan and possible shopping and dining on Michigan Ave. Oh, to dream. Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg
