Boston Ivy (Parthenocissus tricuspidata) is actually an Asian native. In Chinese it’s name means “Wall-climbing Tiger“. It is a sturdy, woody vine that clings to surfaces. Tricuspidata references its three pointed leaf feaatures. Copyright 2026 Pamela BreitbergAutumn is the season of seedheads and fruits. This Boston Ivy seems quite hardy with clusters of grape-like fruit. Soon leaves will turn to deep red before falling leaving the bare vine all winter. Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg
