

80 degrees in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. -15 degrees in Chicago, Illinois. For those not quick with math that makes a 95-degree temperature difference between the Midwest and Southern part of the United States. Thank you, dear husband, for sharing this insight as we reminisced of our days on the beach when we ushered in the New Year.
These images are from yesterday when I dared to venture outside while temperatures were still above zero; plus one picture from a few warmer days ago.
