Cool violet blues, pale greens, back lit by the calm afternoon sun. Soothing tranquility sets the mood as I enter. Silence is a respite, and this Friday afternoon, after several weeks of trying to work patiently through an unrelenting minor health issue while unsuccessfully attend to work like the professional I consider myself, the scene in my garden settles the chaotic voices in my mind.
My False Indigo has risen and bloomed. The smooth oval leaves and small pale flowers manage to remind me of life’s beauty and my multitude of blessings. Life is perspectives and I choose to embrace these grace-filled moments.
