When I think I’ve seen all the variety, creativity that nature’s plants have to offer in the midwest, Chicago, I realize I still have more observations to help enlighten me. I don’t know what this plant is but the seedheads coming directly out of what looks like the center of a single leaf is very different. If you know its identity please let me know.
