Yesterday I was drawn to clumps of these green “things” washing up onto the beach in the afternoon on Ft. Lauderdale’s beach. My first thought was it was some sort of algae but there seemed clear stem-like parts at the end of each clump leading me to think of a Soft Coral. That day Seaweed (Sargassum) were not present; another rare observation during the afternoon beach time. I am ever amazed at my fresh observations while visiting the beach. Copyright 2021 Pamela Breitberg
