Pleasant afternoon at Lincoln Park’s South Pond for us and this Sandhill Crane. The pond is lined with Prairie grasses and native plants making a welcome environment for native wildlife. On the left, just under the bridge you can spy the Sandhill Crane at the water’s edge. Sandhill Cranes do eat small vertebrates including frogs; but a Bullfrog would be quite a swallow. Copyright 2021 Pamela Breitberg
