Random spring tropical images…

A Black-crowned Night Heron was one of the rescued members at Flamingo Gardens in Florida. This was the first such Heron I recall seeing in person. Lovely. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
A butterfly loving Tropical Milkweed (Asclepias curassavica), aka Mexican Butterfly Weed, growing in Southern Florida; I don’t really remember where it was growing! I am very familiar with the related Butterfly Milkweed and the Purple Milkweed which grow eagerly in the prairies of the Midwest.  Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
Orchids growing wild on local trees always capture my attention. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
