Southern subtle grace…

Dogwood (Cornus florida) or Flowering Dogwood always reminds me of home and family. It does not grow in Chicago; that location is too far north and cold for it’s survival. The woodlands of southern Missouri are speckled with their subtle blooms in the spring. Family gardens in the St. Louis and Nashville areas have treasured Dogwood trees as well. Springtime is the perfect time to enjoy their blooms in the southeastern U.S. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
