The raised platform setting of the Fountain Girl in Lincoln Park makes the fountain no longer suitable for easy drinking by people, especially children. It’s higher platform emphasizes it’s importance; but the water might only be enjoyed today by birds and canines. There are many other water drinking fountains throughout the park for one’s hydration needs. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
