What makes a star…

Allium is popular as a design element in a perennial garden. The ornamental Allium, aka not-to-be-eaten garlic, stands out in the sea of other vegetation because the original ball-like design of multiple individual flowers rise above leaves to draw attention, as if it is the star of the summer. It is another species worthy of a quiet moment; take time to appreciate the design originality. Nature does like to show off. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
