Autumnal delicacy…

Japanese Anemone (Eriocapitella hupehensis) is an autumn blooming member of the buttercup family. It has always been a favorite of mine in my garden. Growing up to 39 inchess in height, the delicate blooms rise to command attention over other garden plantings. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
Japanese Anemone‘s scientific name “hupehensis” derives from a region in China where this Asian plant is found and been called “broken bowl flower”. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
