Warding off evils…

This bright yellow flowering patch of St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum) seems to have a confusing reputation. It can be medicinal or toxic; a blessing or a witch’s herb. It also is popular in gardens yet considered very aggressive and invasive. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
