This is a mature window box, on a fence that framed an outdoor eating area, at a favorite restaurant. Colors are all similar, shapes and textures were varied, which should make for interesting, creative planting. Perhaps because the flower sizes were all similar it just seemed like a pretty hodgepodge to my eyes. Not really criticizing because I always enjoy flowers; it just seemed like interesting choices.
