Happy Halloween memories…

This is a recent photograph compared to others I share today. It’s dated 2018 and probably somewhere in Chicago. Wishing everyone a happy and safe trick–or-treat time. Copyright 2023
A Witch and a Dutch woman were my and my sister’s costumes that year. We always, and only, created costumes from old clothes stored in our attic. Oooo! And in those days of yore, we were never given a “treat” until we’d do a “trick” for our neighbors. And, usually, we were invited into their living room to do the “trick” so their whole family could be entertained. My, sadly, times have changed. Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
Even our decorations were homemade! Here, my younger sister used tights sewed to a leotard to become a spider. This same costume had been worn by my other sister years earlier! Stay safe, well sugared, and kind tonight, everyone!! Copyright 2023 Pamela Breitberg
