I painted a similar scene during Covid quarantine and Black Lives Matter days. This is the Lincoln Park edge of Lake Michigan. What struck me is that the trees are separated from each other while remaining together; safe distances apart. And each tree is it’s own unique shape and height. A beautiful scene and message.
