Beautiful but crabby…

In April, I shared a photograph of a Crab Apple tree in bloom: see it here. A dear friend suggested that I paint its portrait. I haven’t used my acrylic paints since March, so I thought this was a good warm-up subject. What I thought would be simple and quick, once again proved its own challenge. Always learning.
