Summer storms…

Summertime on the prairie includes storms. Here, a storm approaches. Golden Alexander (Zizia aurea) nestles among the prairie grasses. Native to North America, it’s flat topped clusters of flowers reveal it as a member of the carrot family. Copyright 2025 Pamela Breitberg
