Jagged marvel…

At first I thought this Palm had been eaten or trimmed poorly by someone. Turns out it grows this way, with jagged edged leaves. Fishtail Palm (Caryota) was present in Sarasota Jungle Gardens. I realized it must be growing naturally this way when seeing so many leaves with this appearance. Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg
