Native variety…

Wild Geranium (Geranium maculatum) is quite different from the annual garden Geranium. It’s a native spring bloomer in violet to pink tones. The leaves made for a pleasant ground cover after its blooming cycle. Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg
Wild Geranium blooms easily in the early, un-leafed woodland areas. It was a favorite in my garden. Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg

When wild seems quite tame.

Natives are often gentle,

Wonderful neighbors.
