The leaves here don’t appear “frosted” but it’s name is FrostAster (Symphyotrichum pilosum) for the hoary, white “frost” appearig on the thick clumps of leaves. Though they grow like weeds, these are natives agressively spread and bloom in late summer and fall. Ciopyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg
