Sea Oats Grass (Uniola paniculata) are valued for their tenacious ability to survive and even thrive in harsh coastal settings. This sparrow relishes the “oats”. Environmentalists appreciate its natural capability to hold the sand in place, effectively combatting salty winds’ erosion attempts.
