Looking through images taken prior to this blog site I came across images from Volo Bog, north of Chicago. These images, taken in 2007, remind me of the Florida Everglades. Both areas are very wet lands, yet with very different inhabitants of plants and animals. Both are stunning with multitudes of stories and tales.
