Each person tends to have their favorite things to observe when taking walks. Mine, unintentionally seem to be walls and the stuff they are built with; in this case I love these series of stone walls. These edge the Sydney Marovitz Golf Course in Chicago’s Lincoln Park. In this compostion, the wall leads the viewer to the unused (as far as I’ve ever seen) shed at the edge of the golf course. The shed happens to be a favorite focus of my husband’s on our walks. So in these times of what seems to be never ending leisure time I chose a recent photograph of mine to inspire this latest acrylic painting. Sentimental perhaps more than anything else.If you’re a golfer check out their site here. Copyright 2020 Pamela Breitberg
