Not only is this tree-like shrub evergreen it also blooms yearround atracting hummingbirds and butterflies. Spicy Peregrina (Jatropha integerrima) produces clusters of delicate red flowers. I came across this mature shrub that was indeed more tree-like than shrub. It graced the edge of a home’s lot and had plenty of room to spread out and flourish.
