Man-made awe…

Do you see it?! It’s tail is showing as it instantly dissapears behind the building. Nope, it’s not a bird, it’s an angel, a U.S. Navy Blue Angel. Copyright 2021 Pamela Breitberg
The Ft. Lauderdale Air Show was this past weekend, so I thought I’d diverge from photos of nature today. The U.S Navy Blue Angels fly past over the pier of Lauderdale by the Sea on their approach to the main staging area for the Air Show. Copyright 2021 Pamela Breitberg
The diamond formation is a trademark element of their shows. The ONLY pilot looking ahead is the front plane; the other pilots watch the wings of their neighbors. Copyright 2021
The Atlantic Ocean allows them to fly relatively low as they pass by. Interesting side note here: their jet trails ended up blowing ashore with help of strong west blowing winds that afternoon. There’s nothing like being enveloped in jet fuel mist for a few moments. That’s a rare sideeffect fortunately. Copyright 2021 Pamela Breitberg
