“Pick up sticks”…

Walking through Lincoln Park I came across this pile of sticks. At first I thought it was arranged to be a club house for kids. And it was way too close to trees to be used for a bonfire?! A summer camp creation? A modern art creation? Who knows. I know the park district crew will make piles after storms; but those piles are in corners of the park, where can easily be picked up or left for wildlife. Copyright 2026 Pamela Breitberg
