Celebrating orchids…

I realized that I’m not done sharing SoFlo images yet. Orchids are easy to spot at Ft. Lauderdale’s Bonnet House. For the first time this year I went to their Orchid Fesitval expecting to see more Orchids on display and a few for sale. What I saw instead was amazing! Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
I counted 28 booths of Orchid vendors at the festival; each more diverse in selections. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
Some Orchid plants produced single blooms at a time. This species yielded a waterfall of delicate blooms. I learned from friends that residents with outdoor gardens need to do nothing to care for their plants; they are air plants after all. Orchids‘ only danger in Ft. Lauderdale area are the ignuanas that knock off blooms in their travels. Nature’s artistry allows for resilient beauty. Copyright 2022 Pamela Breitberg
